Who would have thought you could afford to eat at each of Boston's snazzy restaurants every night of the week. With Boston.com's list of "Great spots for wallet friendly eats after work", you can!

Just about anything your tummy's craving can be found on this list...and then some! Here are just some of my personal favorites that I def plan on wiggling into my agenda next time a long day calls for an "after work" cocktail...

Grilled cheese

Who can say no to grilled cheese, Especially when the sandwiches are just $2 a pop starting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Each week, the melted cheese is accompanied by something new, ranging from tomato and basil to prosciutto.

Or, hoof it to chic MiniBar which also offers $2 Kobe beef sliders from 5-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

'Social Hour'

The infamous "Social Hour" menu at this seafood restaurant (McCormick's) has jaw-dropping low prices.

Tuesday through Friday between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., appetizers range in price from $2 to $5. A $2.95 burger and fries is the star of the menu.

Or, opt for the chicken and biscuits, served with honey-jalapeno mayo for only $2, or the oysters Florentine for $5. Can't make it before 6:30 p.m.? The special also runs between 9 p.m. and midnight Tuesday through Thursday.

Tacos

Stop by La Verdad for Taco Tuesdays. Starting at 11 a.m. until the kitchen closes, choose from the chicken, carnitas, or the pork pastor tacos for just $1 each.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., Tremont 647 offers $2 tacos with a gourmet twist on Tuesdays, featuring wild mushroom, ground turkey and braised brisket varieties.

If Tuesdays don't work with your schedule, head to Dorado Tacos in Brookline on Wednesdays, where fish tacos are $2 each starting at 5 p.m.

Tapas

From 5:30 - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Estragon offers $1 tapas at the bar. Feeling adventurous? Try the Serrano ham or the beef tongue.

Nearby Masa offers a similar deal, with 50 cent tapas from 5-10 p.m daily. At that price, why not add some Spanish flare to your life?
